We want you to know that we understand how you feel! We've all been in your place - the new guy at work or the new mom at the gym. It can be an uncomfortable feeling, but we want you to feel welcomed to our church and we will do everything we can to put you at ease.
We've tried to design this website to answer your questions and so that you feel more comfortable on your first visit to SVBC.
Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating! You don't know what to expect and you probably have some questions like:

Our service begins at 10:15 AM so you may want to arrive a few minutes early to find a place to sit.
We will have coffee and refreshments waiting for you and it's OK to take them into the service.
Once you arrive you will be welcomed by our volunteers and you can sit anywhere you want to sit.
Our service begins with about fifteen minutes of music, followed by the message which explains a portion of the Bible and how it affects all of our lives.
You can dress anyway you feel comfortable. People wear everything from jeans to suits so just be yourself - no one will mind.
Oh, and we will shake your hand but we won't make you stand up and introduce yourself!
